Synopsis
Upon learning that he’s about to lose his sight, Esfandyar, an Iranian expatriate living in Paris, decides to return to Iran after twenty-years of exile. Confronted by his past, the reunions with his dying father and with Forough, his ex-lover, are deeply meaningful. What, with intrigues linked to his political past and his problematic love affairs, Esfandyar has many scores to settle before all sinks into darkness.
