Somewhere in Between
Synopsis
An experimental film portrait, “Somewhere in Between” transposes the research carried out by choreographer Meg Stuart into fiction.
For the film, Stuart recreates the everyday behavior and gestures of a variety of individuals. She takes a look at the strange or unexpected attitudes of a couple living on the fringes, two young women in their apartment, a couple in a partially destroyed house, a young woman in an underground car park, and of another woman who wants to move to Switzerland and who undergoes some more or less traumatic experiences. These characters provide the material for research, both choreographic and cinematographic.
