About
“Kids”, my first film, spoke about the secret world of young people, a world forbidden to parents. In “Ken Park” we enter into the private worlds of four families and, this time, we meet the parents. The story unfolds in Visalia, a small, isolated Californian town situated between Los Angeles and Fresno. The film depicts the lives of four teenagers, all friends from childhood, and their parents. Their lives are presented openly. The mounting violence, hate, love, unbridled sex and emotional dysfunction borders on madness.
