Synopsis
An intimate portrait of 30-year-old Bouda, a Hip-Hop dancer who settled in France with his family when he was four months old. He is now threatened with expulsion under a French law that applies the principle of the so-called "double punishment": banishing outside French borders delinquents released from prisons who happen to be offspring of immigrants. They are shipped off to their native countries, countries many have never set foot in.
Although specifically Bouda's story, it is also one of a generation that grew up in the heart of a northern Parisian suburb where the French Hip Hop movement was born.
A musical film with hip-hop choreography, a fable in rap narration, "scratched" with images of "tags" and graffiti that speaks of utopia and downfall.
