Synopsis
Seville 2002. It’s the time of the Easter celebrations, that famous festival known worldwide for its pilgrims masked in opaque hoods marching in solemn procession.
It’s in this fantastical atmosphere that Maria Delgado, Police Captain recently transferred from Madrid, takes up her position in a milieu not apt to welcome a woman, no matter how pretty she is…
Her first mission is to resolve the Angel brothers’ case. The twins’, dressed in baroque costumes, their bodies pierced by darts, have been found in an old dwelling.
Although her colleagues Quemada and Torillo are by her side, Maria can’t make any breakthroughs in the case and the killer strikes again. While the police team begins to become a tight unit, the killer pursues Maria, hunts her down… Enigmatic Dona Catalina, dignified descendent of an aristocratic family wiped out during the Spanish Civil War, will finally come to their aid. Does she hold the key to the mystery?
