Synopsis
For fear of a hostile world, a woman barricades herself and her daughter in their home. By wanting to protect her child and to keep her near her, she confines her to her bed by persuading her that she is sick. The girl grows up under the electric light, confined to bed and totally dependent on her mother. Their only contact with the outside world is a young boy who passes regularly to bring reserves. Over the years, in spite of the ban of going near the patient's bed, a strange and silent relationship develops between the girl and the boy.
