Synopsis
Souffle de vie is Colombian film noir. The story centers around the murder of a young woman – known only by her surname “Swallow” – in a seedy hotel in Bogota. Emerson, a former policeman, becomes, by force of circumstance, the detective on the case. Without knowing the woman’s true identity, he reconstructs fragments of her life during the course of his investigation.
