Synopsis
Vladimir Vukovic is 19 years old and studying biology at the University of Sarajevo. He adores animals, dogs in particular. He has a French bulldog named Réa. Civil war breaks out. Vladimir loses everything overnight (his parents, his brother, his fiancée, his house...). He is alone with his dog Réa. He is mobilized by the Bosnian army and becomes part of the compulsory work force. He digs graves, collects and buries the dead. Three years later Vladimir gets a job with UNPROFOR.

Tender Age, by Julien Gaspar-Oliveri
Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager. At high school, she would like to be loved like she is at home and expresses it in an awkward way like when she exchanges a favor for a look, in the toilets. A loudmouth, provocative, and seeking attention, Diane tries to stand apart from her mother and wishes, during a weekend, to live like an adult.
