Synopsis
When she hears of her father’s death, Lise flees the claustrophobic embrace of a family of mourning women and travels to Brittany to visit her best friend, Gwen. Girls Can’t Swim is a tale of adolescence, full of tenderness and rage, describing how two childhood friends, inseparable allies through thick and thin, can fall out, become strangers and end up at war.
