Synopsis
Pierre is a stranger in an unfamiliar town. Pierre scribbles in a notebook. Pierre is alone in London. Pierre tears up his notes. Pierre is trying to write a novel. Tom is a male escort boy for ladies – a gigolo. Tom is a prostitute. But Pierre doesn’t find this out until later, when Tom takes him to a party without telling him why and they are paid by two lady clients. Pierre is surprised. Pierre is shocked. Pierre is flattered. And because it scares him, because it's the opposite of the stifling life he’s led, because he doesn’t know how far he can go, Pierre goes for it. Like many people who are too well-behaved, Pierre goes too far.

About
If I had been a teacher, I would have been like Pierre. Except that I probably wouldn't have had to courage to give it all up, the way he did. That said, what's good about inventing a character is that you can imagine someone braver than yourself. Identity is something that fascinates and worries me. It's probably no coincidence that I wanted to become an actor, which means having fun while adopting someone else's identity, since you're not happy with your own. I don't really know why I make movies. If I knew, I probably wouldn't shoot them.
