About
For me, Cora personifies the classic rebel figure who walks right into the first trap she comes to. Being a rebel is wonderful, as long as you keep your critical faculties about you, and it’s not always easy to do both. Luckily, Cora is rescued by her wonderful candor, which appeals to the feelings of everyone around her. The Sadoul Prize reviewers wrote something about the film that I really liked: ‘It demystifies hypnosis but not belief.’ I’ll gladly take credit for that.
