Synopsis
Youssef, Stéphane, Christophe and Mike have been buddies since chilhood. Born into modest families on the outskirts of Paris, they have always lived in the same working-class neighborhood. They went to the same schools together, sowed their wild oats together, started dating together. Now aged 18 to 20, they have just won a video contest and are about to enjoy their prize: a month's vacation - the first they've ever had - in Biarritz. During their stay in chic Biarritz, they encounter a world completely unfamiliar to them, leading to wild laughter, crazy fun and flirtation.

About
I only talk about things I know. Since I come from the suburban ghettos and wanted to make movies, I wondered how to get about it these days. The answer was clear: talk about things you know, adolescence to adulthood, as told by people who grew up in housing projects. That said, let me immediately clear up one misunderstanding: "Le Ciel..." isn't just a film about guys from the ghetto, it's also and mainly a film about feelings, notably love and frienship.
(Djamel Bensalah - Director)
