La Chica

Janek, a Polish exile, has chosen to withdraw from civilisation, to a ramshackle house in the middle of nowhere. He calls it the "asshole" of the world. On the run from the police, his nephew Stan with his friend Angel in tow comes to hide out for a spell after a botched break-in. In this deserted sun-drenched corner of South America the vodka flows like water and Janek's saxophone makes the stones weep. Life drifts slowly by uninterrupted... Until one morning along the one and only macadam road in this godforsaken spot, comes Julie. Fleeing from two killers she dives into Angel's car. Julie is a bomshell runaway, and dangerous too ! In the space of three days this "chica" turns the lives of her three protectors upside down, as each in their own way fall for her charms...
