Nabil's life is punctuated with a love and an attention paid to his mother, but also with dreams and wishes of the younger generation, so with a profound and sincere friendship which bends him to Mansour. Mansour is an old man from Fahima's area that Nabil 's mother looks on unfavourably, as if an event stained their past and left a wound still fresh in their life and their memory. One day at cemetary, in company with his mother, Nabil notices Leila, mourning for a friend dead few months earlier. He's immediatly captivated by the beauty of this young teacher who, each day on her bike, rides from her town to a nearly village to bring with conviction, knowledge and instruction to young countrymen... With the complicity of Mansour, the marriage is celebrated and the couple settles in Nabil's family house. But Fahima, the mother, doesn't admit that union ; and she's going to turn Leila out, victim of a past conflict with mysterious origins.
