Biography

An extra in Costa-Gavras' Eden Is West, Mona Achache first catches attention when she directs a short film as well as a documentary. Her directorial feature debut, The Hedgehog, is an adaptation of the novel by Muriel Barbery. The film is signed before the book becomes a huge bestseller, and enjoys as well great success at the box-office in France.
