Ann, George and their son Georgie are on their way to their home in the country where they'll spend the summer. Their neighbors, Fred and Eva, have already arrived and they agree to get together the following morning for a round of golf. While her husband and son busy themselves with their recently restored yacht, Ann starts preparing dinner. Suddenly, she finds herself face to face with an extremely polite young man, Peter, one of her neighbor's guests. Eva has sent him over to ask if he can borrow some eggs. Ann is about to give him some when she hesitates. How did Peter get on their property? Things quickly take a turn for the worse and lead to an explosion of violence.
