Synopsis

Luc Moullet, film director, heads for the south of France to location scout for his next film, for which he is yet to have secured financing. During his travels through the mountains, he discovers a corpse. He decides to swap his passport for that of the dead man; news of his ‘death’ will stimulate the distribution of his earlier works, thereby enhancing financing for his next film. However, the corpse is not that of just some ordinary man…
