Synopsis
Rome in the seventies – the Red Brigades rule. But another gang is going to stake its claim. A gang of petty criminals slowly imposes the reign of their law on the Italian capital. They’re a group of three: Lebanese, Ice, and Dandy. The kidnapping of a wealthy, bourgeois man gets them started. The ransom money is invested in heroin trafficking. Allied with the Mafia, the gang quickly takes total control of the drug business and earns, in exchange for a few services, the protection of civil servents assigned to carry out the state’s dirty work. Focused on the struggle against terrorism, the forces of law and order underestimate the criminal capacities of these young gangsters. The only vaguely lucid cop is Captain Scialoia, who counts on his ambiguous relationship with Patrizia, Dandy’s prostitute girlfriend, to bring the gang down. His troubles are far from over. But so are the gang’s. After glory, decline awaits.
