Synopsis
“Le Clan,” or the portrait of three brothers in three chapters.
The first segment opens with Marc, 22, the middle brother. He is the rival brother who lives in adulation of his elder brother, Christophe, and in contempt of his younger brother, Olivier, for whom he wants to be a role model.
The second segment continues with Christophe, 26, fresh out of prison and on a rehabilitation program. He is willing to do anything, even to betray his teenage ideals, to assimilate back into society. A brother who no longer measures up to the idolized image his brother Marc had of him.
And lastly, there is Olivier 17, the youngest brother, the one who will search out new horizons with another, substitute brother: Hisham, 21.
Through these three portraits emerges a story of revenge, which, initially benign, takes on tragic proportions, to the point of forcing each of the brothers to take a stand, once and for all, in relation to each other.
