Biography

Actress, novelist (she has published three novels), Fabienne Berthaud is a director as well. In 1998, she co-directs Noël en famille, a short film in which Mathilde Seigner makes her first appearance on screen. Frankie, her first feature, starring Diane Kruger, not yet the famous actress she has become at the time of the shooting, tells the nervous breakdown of a model who ends up in a psychiatric hospital. The movie has been selected in Locarno, Edinburgh and Toronto.
