The "Le Cinéma Français" (French Cinema) application published by Unifrance in partnership with the magazine Le Film Français is now available for widescreen display on Android smart phones.
Initially developed for iPhones and soon followed by a version for low resolution Android smart phones (480x800), this application has now been optimized for display on widescreen resolution (1280x720).

The "Le Cinéma Français" app is the first ever free-of-charge mobile phone application dedicated to French cinema, aimed at the movie-loving general public as well as movie sector professionals, both in France and abroad.
This trilingual application available in French, English, and Spanish, offers users the latest news on French films in France and abroad: production status, theatrical releases, box office, awards, festival selections and delegations at the major film festivals and markets (Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Toronto, Locarno, Busan, etc.).
Designed as a reference tool for all types of research relating to French films, this application also gives the general public access to thematic studies and a comprehensive database of contemporary French films and artists, accompanied by trailers, photo galleries (15,000 feature film files, 10,000 short film files, and 300 festival and event files). This service provides access to an international directory of movie industry professionals (100,000 individual files and 10,000 company files).
