Since last year, UniFrance Films has been developing closer ties with the exhibition sector, with the goal of broadening our promotional activities for French films.
Raising awareness of French films in the exhibition sector has become an essential factor in improving the distribution of French cinema, thereby providing support to distributors.
CinemaCon will take place from April 15-18, 2013, in Las Vegas. We will provide all participants with a DVD featuring trailers of French films. This international convention will bring together exhibitors from around the world (3,250 participants this year).
Vista 2013, the regional convention for South American exhibitors, will be held in Buenos Aires from April 22-24, 2013. 20 minutes of French film trailers will be presented on a wide screen to all participants at this event (350 exhibitors).
CineEurope (June 24-27, 2013 in Barcelona) will gather together around 1,200 European exhibitors. At this event, 20 minutes of French film trailers will be screened along with a new, as yet unreleased French film. This is the second year in which we will take part in this international convention, which bills itself as the leading platform on the European continent for films from the American studios.
