Benoît Jacquot’s latest film to open the competition at the Berlinale on 9 February 2012
The film, adapted from the eponymous novel by Chantal Thomas relates, through the eyes of the Queen’s reader, the first days of the French revolution. Diane Kruger, Léa Seydoux and Virginie Ledoyen star in this historic drama. The film will be screened in its world première at the opening of the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival.
