Tunis hosts the Franco-Tunisian Film Co-Production Workshop

The CNC and Unifrance Films will be organizing the Franco-Tunisian Film Co-Production Workshop.

This initiative is a response to the Tunisian film professionals grouped together within the federated producers' union and the film directors' association. During a meeting held May 17 in Cannes this year, the Tunisian filmmakers and producers present expressed to CNC President, Eric Garandeau, their strong desire to strengthen and tighten professional ties with France. In response to this enthusiasm and due to the urgency of the Tunisian situation, we decided to hold this co-production workshop at the end of September.

After a roundtable presenting a general co-production framework (financing sources, case studies, exchanging experiences), two half-day sessions will be dedicated to pitching Tunisian projects, descriptions of which can be found at the CNC's website.
