Anne Fontaine takes part today in the On Set with French Cinema program at the University of Tel Aviv with students from the Beit Berl College.
Coco avant Chanel (Coco Before Chanel) will be presented in a preview screening at the event, followed by a debate with the director. The film is slated for release in Israel on June 11, and is one of a number of films selected for screening at the Tel Aviv French Film Festival. Josiane Balasko will also be present at the festival, for her film Cliente (Client), as will Vincent Garenq for his film Comme les autres (Baby Love).
This event will mark the second time that the On Set with French Cinema initiative is held in Israel following a master class led by Jan Kounen in June 2008.
