For the past 7 years, Unifrance has provided facilities at "Club Unifrance" in the International Village-Pantiero.
A space devoted to our members and partners of the French movie industry from around the world.
This facility is now one of the most popular locations for press attachés and distribution companies holding meetings and interviews with French actors and directors. Last year, the program at the Club ran at full capacity throughout the Festival, serving 17 production crews.
The Cannes Film Festival is an ideal occasion to keep up to date with international film festival directors, meet with foreign distributors, and work on a daily basis with journalists from across the globe. The entire Unifrance team (including the directors of our offices abroad in the United States, Japan, and China) will be in attendance throughout the Festival to organize this year’s upcoming events in collaboration with Unifrance partners and service providers.
Club Unifrance also maintains its spirit of openness and hospitality, welcoming numerous professional meetings during the Festival. For example, the FIPRESCI jury will be holding its discussions at the Club prior to announcing its verdict on May 24. The Ecumenical Prize and the Short Film Award will also be presented to their winners at the Unifrance stand. European culture ministers will keep with tradition and make a stopover at Club Unifrance before walking up the steps of the Palais des Festivals.
