L'Ennemi intime scoops awards in Cairo

The 31st Cairo International Film Festival awards three top prizes to Florent Emilio Siri's film.

The jury awarded the festival's top prize, the Golden Pyramid for Best Film, to L’Ennemi intime, and felt that it offered “a unique warning about the futility of armed combat.”
Florent Emilio Siri received the Best Director prize, while Albert Dupontel, who plays one of the leads, was awarded Best Actor.
19 films from 16 countries were in competition for the Golden Pyramid.
