With 19,679,000 admissions to its credit, the film by Alain Chabat attracted the highest number of spectators in Europe. It was followed by the British productions "Die another Day" and "About a Boy."
Another French film, "8 Women" by François Ozon, featured in 4th place, followed by the Spanish production "Talk to Her" by Pedro Almodovar.
Of the top 20 European films in this category, France ranked as the leading producer country, with 7 films.
