"Les Bronzés 3 - Amis pour la vie" has set a new record for the most successful launch for a film of any nationality in French-speaking Switzerland, as well as the best debut for a French film in Belgium.
Released by JMH Distribution on 30 prints, the film by Patrice Leconte raked in 951,430 Swiss francs between Thursday, February 2 and Sunday, February 5, which is SFr30,645 more than the previous number 1 film, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" (figures are calculated from Thursday to Friday due to the fact that until 2002, films were only released on Thursdays in this territory).
Box office results for this hit film, including those for Wednesday, February 1st, thus total SFr1,142,496, representing 83,0140 spectators!
