Nine French films are currently showcased at the French Film Week held at Vienna's Burg Kino.
From September 23 through 29, the Burg Kino, one of Vienna's most beautiful independent theaters, will present nine French films in Austrian premieres. The festival program was put together by Kurt Schramek and Marlene Schramek (who are also distributors with their company Cinestar Filmverleih), and includes 5 titles not yet sold in this territory and 4 preview screenings:
- "Va, vis et deviens" ("Live & Become") by Radu Mihaileanu (opening film, to be released December 2 by Cinestar)
- "Vipère au poing" ("Viper in the Fist") by Philippe de Broca (to be released September 30 by Cinestar)
- "Mon père est ingénieur" ("My Father is an Engineer") by Robert Guédiguian (to be released October 14 by Cinestar)
- "À boire" ("Bottoms Up") by Marion Vernoux (Cinestar)
- "Le Grand Voyage" by Ismaël Ferroukhi
- "Les Revenants" ("They Came Back") by Robin Campillo
- "Travaux, on sait quand ça commence..." ("Works") by Brigitte Roüan
- "Bon Voyage" by Jean-Paul Rappeneau
- "Triple Agent" by Eric Rohmer
