With more than 200,000 admissions by its seventh week, Michael Haneke's film is off to a fine start across the Rhine.
Distributed by Concorde in a sixty screen release, "The Piano Teacher" had racked up 205,732 admissions by the end of its seventh weekend. The film, starring Isabelle Huppert and Benoît Magimel, has held its position in the Top 20 list for six weeks. Meanwhile, "Amelie" continues its fabulous career and has been seen by 2.3 million moviegoers in fifteen weeks.
