For the 42nd MyFrenchShort, and as part of the third edition of MyFrenchAnimationDays (MyFAD), we invite you to discover Go Away, Alfred!, an animated short film made in 2023 by Célia Tisserant and Arnaud Demuynck.
Alfred had to flee his country because of the war. Homeless, he wanders from one rejection to the next. One day he meets Sonia, who invites him for coffee.
An animal fable about rejecting oppression, exile, and loneliness, and ultimately accepting others as a way to open up to the world, which has been screened at international film festivals.
The film can be watched for free worldwide until April 8, 2027 on YouTube.
