Unifrance in partnership with TitraFilm, presented a Unifrance Doc Award to Roman Ďuriš' project Children of the Moon Land during the CPH:DOX documentary film festival in Copenhagen.
CPH:FORUM, Unifrance, and TitraFilm joined forces for the third consecutive year to present the Unifrance Doc Award for the best pitch of a French production or co-production presented at CPH:FORUM.
The winning project receives funding for subtitling—thanks to the support of TitraFilm—and its French production company receives a one-year membership in Unifrance.
The award went to Children of the Moon Land, directed by Roman Ďuriš, a film produced by Albin Bourgeois (WePlus, France), Richard Šimeček (DNA Productions, Slovakia), and Michal Sikora (Lonely Production, Czech Republic).

The Unifrance Doc Award jury members:
- Caroline Behar, Director of International Co-productions and Documentary Acquisitions at France Télévisions
- Emma Simpson, film director at Journeyman Pictures
- Stina Gardell, founder of Mantaray Film, film producer and director
The jury issued the following statement: “In a world that seems broken and uncertain, the need for friendship has never been greater. This project deeply moved us because it presents dreams as an act of resistance. While powerful tech giants talk about building a new world on the Moon, other brilliant young minds are building their own world, in a lunar landscape.”
