Presented at the Unifrance Rendez-Vous in Paris in January 2022, these three animated audiovisual programs present a wide range of the richness of French production, with universal themes for children of all ages. On the eve of the Annecy International Animation Film Market (MIFA), producers and distributors tell us about the genesis, production and international ambitions of these programs.

"Akissi," from comic book to the television screen

Akissi is a 26-minute animated special aimed at young children aged four and up. It takes us on a journey to Ivory Coast to follow the adventures of its main character, a little girl with a strong personality that children all over the world will be able to identify with. Jérôme Alby, Managing Director at Mediatoon, tells us about this special which will be broadcast on France Télévisions on June 15, and on Boomerang Africa on June 16.

New technologies, ecology, and inclusivity are central to "Droners," a crazy adventure series

Raphaëlle Mathieu, executive vice president of sales at Cyber Group Studios, tells us how the series Droners, which combines adventure, new technologies, ecology, and characters from all walks of life, has already won over French audiences and several international broadcasters. With a first season that reached the top 3 of TF1's ratings, secured international partners in Germany and Benelux, and a second season in preparation, Droners has no intention of stopping there.

"Edmond and Lucy," an innovative series that invites children to marvel at nature

The first animated television series to be developed entirely in real-time 3D, Edmond and Lucy was made in keeping with the values of respect for nature that it conveys. Hanna Mouchez, president of MIAM ! Animation, and Mélanie Errea, head of sales and acquisitions, talk to us about the story, production, and the series' international ambitions.mThe series is scheduled to be launched in France on July 2, 2022 on France Télévisions' youth platform, Okoo.
