Panel discussion: "Eligibility rules for animated films at the Oscars"

To coincide with the visit to Paris of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) from March 2 to 3, 2020, leading talents in the French animation industry gathered together in the offices of Xilam Animation for a discussion moderated by Bonnie Arnold, elected representative of the AMPAS Animation Branch. At this meeting, Jérémy Clapin, winner of the César Award for I Lost My Body, producers Marc du Pontavice, Damien Brunner, and Didier Brunner, directors Alain Gagnol, Hélène Giraud, and Thomas Szabo, and the music producer Emmanuel Delétang exchanged their ideas on the position of French animated films at the Oscars.
