With nearly 100 films available from March 27 through May 25, 2020, MyFrenchFilmFestival - STAY HOME Edition recorded more than 1.3 million streams worldwide.
During the lockdown period following the health crisis provoked by Covid-19, MyFrenchFilmFestival, UniFrance's online festival, offered internet users the possibility of discovering or once again enjoying more than 80 short films and 20 features from the past ten editions.
Available free of charge for two months on MyFrenchFilmFestival.com, but also on the festival's YouTube and Facebook pages, the selected films recorded more than 1.3 million streams in over 200 territories. Subtitled in more than 10 languages, these films were remarkably successful in several European countries, but also and above all in Latin America and Japan, where the YouTube channel was particularly popular.
MyFrenchFilmFestival is organized by UniFrance, the organization in charge of promoting French cinema throughout the world. The STAY HOME edition received support from: CNC, Ministère de la Culture, Ministère de l'Europe et des Affaires étrangères, Institut Français, TitraFilm, Agence pour l’Enseignement Français à l’Etranger (aefe), France Médias Monde, Télérama, Webedia, What the France, Corre Camara, International Film Festival Calabria.
