Is the number of spectators who attended the 2017 edition of the French Film Festival in Yokohama, in twelve sessions of single premiere screenings. A record, taking into account that the festival's three theaters had respectively 530, 700, and 944 seats. Seven sessions were full, and the five others were 70% full. The positive result of excellent preliminary media coverage, thanks to the presence, as the festival's patrons, of Catherine Deneuve and Takeshi Kitano, superstars in Japan. More than ninety journalists (including several French people) were present at the opening night gala.
