Between June 23 and July 2, 2016, the Munich International Film Festival welcomed the presence of Danielle Arbid, Lola Doillon, Joachim Lafosse, Kheiron, Otar Iosseliani, Vincent Garenq, Christian Carion, Jihane Chouaib, and Mikhaël Hers, all of whom traveled to the event to introduce their films. At the end of June, Victoria Bedos, Pascal Bonitzer, Agathe Bonitzer, Florence Loiret-Caille, and Camille Fontaine took part in the Brussels Film Festival .
Among French artists who supported the commercial release of their films in foreign markets, Isabelle Huppert was in attendance in Japan as this year's patron of the French Film Festival in Yokohama organized by UniFrance, and for the release of Macadam Stories, Things to Come, and Elle. Eva Husson traveled to London on June 14 for the release of Bang Gang (A Modern Love Story), while Christophe Barratier and Ramzy Bedia accompanied the release of their films in Switzerland: Team Spirit on June 8 and 9, and Owl You Need Is Love on June 24, respectively. And finally, Bruno Dumont made the trip to Belgium for the release of Slack Bay on June 21.
