In Moscow to star in five performances of the stage play False Admissions by Pierre Marivaux at the Mossovet Theater, Isabelle Huppert and Louis Garrel also played their part in promoting French cinema in Russia.
Isabelle Huppert gave a press conference following an exclusive screening held for journalists of Plus fort que les bombes by Joachim Trier (acquired in Russia by Provzglyad and slated for release on November 5), while Louis Garrel presented La Jalousie by Philippe Garrel, a film that has not yet secured a distribution deal in Russia, but which was screened as part of the "French Vacation" program that is presented throughout the summer by the French Institute in Moscow in an outdoor theater in the Gorki Park set up by the Pionier Cinema. The Pionier Cinema was a key participant in these events, since it also hosted the press conference with Isabelle Huppert.
