French directors of short films will be out in force at the next edition of the event, which will be held March 14 through 21, 2014.
The International Short Film Festival in Outaouais (FICMO), in partnership with the Outaouais Film Festival (OFF), presents a highly competitive program where short films have the opportunity of screening before an accompanying feature screened by the OFF. The best shorts, selected by a jury, will all be presented during a FICMO gala evening.
For more than 15 years, the Outaouais Film Festival has been held in the region of Canada's national capital, a unique urban area which crosses a provincial English-speaking (Ontario) and French-speaking (Quebec) border, hence sharing culture and the economy.
With more than 25,000 visitors who attend the Outaouais Film Festival, the FICMO becomes an ideal platform for producers and filmmakers from around the world, to the great pleasure of film lovers.
