A long night of solitude.
After initial questioning and medical examinations come a long night of administrative proceedings at a police station following a gang rape suffered by a young Romanian prostitute, whom director Liova Jedlicki presents to us in Solitudes. Winner of Best Actress honors at the Clermond-Ferrand International Short Film Festival for Madalina Constantin's performance, Liova Jedlicki’s third short immerses us in a dehumanized world whose desperately lonely protagonists are caught up in a horrific situation that raises the question of "how the official procedures that follow a rape can be conducted efficiently without it becoming a second rape for the victim."
