Journalists from leading Australian and New Zealand press companies arrived in Paris mid-November for the major annual press junket. 50 French artists will be there to talk to them.
From November 18 through 21, UniFrance films will host nine journalists from Australia and New Zealand, who'll come especially to Paris to meet the actors and directors of French films slated for release in their territories in 2014. The journalists represent the leading newspapers and television stations of their respective countries: The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Canberra Times, The Australian, the SBS Television... channel, and from New Zealand The Dominion Post and The New Zealand Herald.
At the initiative of Unifrance, more than fifty French artists (compared with thirty-five last year) are making themselves available to participate in this press junket, which has met with geunine success since its creation in 2005. For many French cinema professionals, the junket now represents a unique opportunity to be in contact with the main media of both these territories, thereby allowing them to promote their films.
