As a prelude to the French Cinema Today Festival in Russia, a press conference will take place in Moscow on November 21, in the presence of Fanny Ardant, who will present her new film.
The French Cinema Today Festival in Russia will be held this year in Novossibirsk, from December 9 through 11, followed by Moscow from December 12 through 15. To launch this event organized by Unifrance and the Ambassade de France in Moscow, a press conference will be held on November 21 at the Pionier theater in Moscow, during which participating films and artists will be announced.
To accompany this event, Fanny Ardant will go especially to the Russian capital to present her new film as a director, Cadences obstinées, seen only by a few Portuguese and Georgian spectators at premiere screenings, as the film won't be released in France until January 8, 2014.
A press screening will be held for sixty journalists, followed by a press conference announcing the festival line-up, in turn followed by a press conference with Fanny Ardant.
Extremely famous in Russia since The Woman Next Door, Ardant is currently starring in Bright Days Ahead by Marion Vernoux (released in Russia October 24) and the adaptation for theatrical release of Raspoutine, a television production by Josée Dayan. It was shot in Russia two years ago and released there on November 7.
