Quai d'Orsay by Bertrand Tavernier has won two awards at the leading Basque film festival, which celebrated its 61st anniversary this year.
Led by the American director Todd Haynes, the jury of the 61st San Sebastian International Film Festival (SSIFF) announced its award winners Sunday, September 29, with four prizes presented to French films.
Quai d'Orsay was honored with the Best Screenplay award, presented to Bertrand Tavernier and his co-screenwriters, authors of the comic book of the same title, Antonin Baudry (photo) and Christophe Blain, and also picked up the FIPRESCI International Critics' Prize.
The TVE Otra Mirada Prize was awarded to Young & Beautiful by François Ozon, while the Solidarity Prize went to One of a Kind by François Dupeyron.
