Synopsis
Antigone, Oedipus' and Jocasta's daughter, sister to Ismenia, Eteocles and Polynices, became her father's guide once he'd blinded himself. She is condemned to death by King Creon, her uncle, for not obeying his command that Polynices is not to receive proper burial rites. With unwavering courage Antigone defies Creon by defending the universal laws of duty against false and ephemeral human justice...
