Synopsis
This film relates the life of Jesus as a sort of a mediaeval mystery play. The settings, that is to say Palestine, are inspired by primitive German and Flemish painters. Next, a sequence is given to each of the main protagonists of the drama: Mary, Jesus, Joseph, Jesus' disciples, the people of Israel.
