Synopsis
All I inherited from Algeria was a song. A melody my grandfather hummed every day, which turned out to be a trace of the internment of Algerian Jews in the Bedeau camp in Algeria between 1941 and 1943. Blending intimate narrative and historical inquiry, the film follows the thread of this truncated memory and transforms oblivion into a collective story.
