Synopsis
Four siblings who grew up together. Among them are twins: Manon, a discreet schoolteacher who lives in the shadows of her native village in the Vosges, and Alexandra, an actress who lives in the spotlight in Paris.
The night before they are due to celebrate their 40th anniversary, Manon disappears. Kidnapping? Murder? Accident? Voluntary disappearance? The police investigation doubles as an intimate one. While searching Manon’s home, Alexandra discovers that her sister has been stealing her clothes and jewelry, and cross-dressing as her. Excessive admiration? Split personality? Perverse game?
Behind the veil where everyone hides, how well do we really know those we love?
