Synopsis
With her frizzy bob and puffy miniskirt, Céline Dion sported a new look as she represented Switzerland at the 33rd Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin, Ireland, on April 30, 1988. Selected a few months earlier by the Swiss from among 250 candidates, she performed Ne partez pas sans moi, a song by Nella Martinetti set to music by Atilla Sereftug. After a suspenseful and unprecedented contest, the 20-year-old Quebec native won the competition.
