Synopsis
Believing his wife to be overtasked by her work on an opera, Alexandre takes Hélène to his family home in the country. Suffering from an incurable disease that will leave her blind, Hélène withdraws into silence and focuses on the costumes she sews, hiding the truth from her husband. In the increasing darkness, Hélène begins to see a terrifying figure.
